You guys were awesome :D
I was asked what I used for the lollypop on my Trickster!Fem!Godtier!John cosplay so I figured I’d show you what I’d used. It’s very similar to Model Magic but it’s a bit heavier and takes longer to dry. I’m not sure how it compares in cost but the stuff I used cost $2.26 at Walmart. It’s good because it doesn’t crack and is easy to paint (I also did I layer of podge to make it shiny) the paint peeled at bit at the back cause I attempted to tape a safety pin to the back so I could pin it to my hood. I ended up using a glue gun to keep the safety pin on but removing the tape peeled some of the paint away. I still have about 1/4th of what was in the package left unused.
Summary
‘Foamies’ Modeling Clay from Walmart ($2.26), 4 OZ (113.3 g)
pros: cheap, light-ish weight, doesn’t crack, can be painted.
cons: smells very strong, very sticky, long dry time.
Done.
